It was alright at first until I kept getting the same bible verses over and over.

I havent had the problems others have had listed below. No repeats yet, but I havent verified the verses just because I dont have a need to, personally. I just use this app as a lovely way to start my day! I didnt intend to download a verse app originally. I saw this app when looking for a bible app, and I am so glad I did. I look forward to seeing the next verse because they arent just the popular ones seen on decor and Christian accessories and such. They are chosen specifically for the app, and they are wonderful reminders of what is important as we walk in His ways. The backgrounds repeat, but the photographs are beautiful examples of Gods great creation. It is a simple app, with the option to favorite the verses which speak to you the most to look at again later. Really wonderful, thank you so much! A helpful tip: if you do not want to be reminded of the new verses, turn notifications off for this app if using an Apple device. It was worth it for me to do that, just because it isnt a really interactive app to need to keep them on for me. Download it, try it, and share it with others. I hope you enjoy it everyday like I do, or every so often as a pick me up and refreshing reminder of Gods loving vision for mankind!

While still an encouragement at the beginning if the day when I get my reminder that theres a new Bible verse waiting, there are some major issues with this app. When it loads, a huge ad for games like Candy Crush is the first thing you see and it has to be closed. Frustrates me every time to the point that Ive stopped using the app regularly. I would pay for the no-ad version, but the quality of editing is really poor. Sometimes you dont get the verse but someones notes about the verse. Today, I got no verse at all! It just said Ephesians 3:20 and the rest was blank! Feels very thrown together.

I love to get the scripture daily but I have a hard time reading them due to the backround sometimes

I am so happy that someone created this. I live for him and only him. And i love to wake up and the morning and find a new verse to read. This is great and i will recommend this to everyone!

The bible book is literally blaspheming by having ads pop up while you are reading a bible quote. You are not supposed to advertise in the temple of God we learned this from Jesus himself.

Th ads are really bothering me and I cant buy the non ad version. I swiped left and tried to go back to todays verse but it wouldnt let me, it would only let me swipe back to the verses from the days before. verses are poorly written wrong. Rating: 0/10 I cant give it a 0 star cause it wont let me :/

I recommended this app to a family friend who struggled with a "lust" issue. The ad that pops up with the blonde and her cleavage is a huge turn... OFF! Call me old fashioned, but why does there have to be "sex" everywhere?

I love this app, but as soon as I opened it I had a "Game of War" ad pop up... When I read from the Bible I really dont want to see those kinds of things pop up. If your going to have ads maybe watch what apps you allow to pop up.

Many days i find the verse difficult to read with the background & the tiny print. Please make the type bolder.

App was great until I started to realize that some scriptures had additions that were not like how they are in the bible

I understand capitalism and all, but the ads are getting out of control. Immediately upon opening, there is a full screen of ad, and sometimes, this ad will be a conflict of interest to the very verse you are trying to read. Like, to the point of blasphemy. Worse, when you try to exit out of the ad with sexual (forget all the sex/porn addicts trying to use this app to help their recovery) and violent (poor everyone suffering from bloodlust addictions/PTSD/self-harm/and other psychological issues) images, it will redirect to Safari and app store to purchase the app. I also dont feel it is justified to pay for the removal of ads when ads shouldnt be getting in the way of reading Gods word anyway, especially since I also have Daily Quote, which is secular, and I have never even seen an ad, except occasionally in the bottom corner. I would expect the secularists to behave less Christian than Christians, but once again, we are proven wrong. If secularists can offer an essentially ad-free app, then so can Christians. The developers of this app should seriously read the content of their own app.

Love the Daily Bible Verse with the nice picture BUT the ads are unacceptable. They always seem to be of the sexual nature and pop up as soon as it opens. Completely ruins the testimony of this app, sadly. Day after day, ad after ad of promiscuity is ridiculous. Today, I have decided to just delete this app. So many times trying to just get out of the ad, I accidental click on the ad. Maybe thats your deal, but it isnt mine. You allowed a beautiful testimony to be ruined. Shame on you!

The verse was wrong one

I paid for this item for my iPhone 6 and now will not work. This should be fixed. I love the item will I could use it.

I have been using this app for about a week and posting daily to Facebook, it had been working great until about 4 days ago. For some reason when i try to post to Facebook now it is blank and will not post. It seems to be fine when its sent through an email just not through Facebook which is to bad because I really like this app other than this issue. I have not deleted the app yet with hopes this issue would be resolved, can you fix this?

Wouldnt recommend getting this bible verse app. I think there are better ones out there.

As soon as you open the app, within seconds an ad pops up, sometimes very inappropriate.. After a year of using it I am deleting this app since Im so tired of the pop ups.
